Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Omends Healthcare provides Supported Independent Living for NDIS participants with higher support needs who require assistance to live safely and as independently as possible.

We are currently accepting SIL referrals and have vacancies available. Our team can provide support within available SIL accommodation or in a participant’s existing home, depending on their circumstances, preferences and approved supports.

Support is tailored to each participant’s assessed needs and may include 1:1 or 2:1 assistance, active overnight support or inactive overnight support. We work collaboratively with participants, families, support coordinators and allied-health professionals to develop an individualised support arrangement that promotes safety, dignity, independence and choice.

All referrals are subject to an assessment of the participant’s needs, compatibility, funding, service suitability and current capacity
